RockJock's Sport Edition Johnny Joint Suspension System for JT Gladiators with the EcoDiesel engine provides 3 1/2 inches of lift and allows for efficient clearance of up to 37 in. tall tires (with minor trimming, larger tires will require aftermarket fenders). This kit is comprised of only the highest end components in the areas of strength, fit, finish, function, and the engineering to back them. This kit is more than sufficient for those who want to lift their vehicle, install big tires and hit some trails on the weekend! Included in this kit are front upper and rear upper Johnny Joint adjustable control arms, set of 4 progressively wound coil springs including one front coil spring shim, front (EcoDiesel specific) and rear bump stop kits, Johnny Joint adjustable front trac bar, rear trac bar geometry relocation bracket, front and rear adjustable extended sway bar links, front brake line relocation brackets, extended rear brake hose kit and the driveshaft carrier bearing drop spacer kit. Have full upper/lower CA set on both front and rear axles on a 96 ZJ. These are the rubber bushing sets not joint sets. I have beat the hell out it in the Nevada desert for 2 years and has been great. I don’t go fast but I do articulate suspension a lot. Super solid and haven’t any issues. Just inspected the entire set recently due to some banging under it. Turns out the banging is lower rear shock bushings. Inspected each CA along the way nothing. Aside from dirt and obviously winter roads and what not still in excellent condition, bushings are solid like the day they were installed. I’ll add that I’m about tapped on a short arm at 4.25(less with settle) so the front CA’s get beat on just from that, still they’re like new. Paint is great condition, this set is red. I would definitely buy again. Another plus for me, Utah isn’t local necessarily, but it’s nice to support businesses closer to me.

Had a worn out set of rear upper control arms on my TJ. These were old rubicon express long arms. can’t buy replacements and no one makes a direct fit replacement.
Talked with Korby at core off road sent some measurements and photos and a week later new arms showed up. Packaging was perfect fit was perfect.
Would highly recommend giving these guys a call.

I don’t write reviews often, but Core 4x4 absolutely earned this one.
I recently ordered leaf spring mounts and realized after the fact that I messed up my order. Totally my mistake. Instead of giving me the runaround or pointing at a return policy, Core 4x4 emailed me back and forth, worked through exactly what I was doing with my build, and made sure I ended up with the correct parts.
That kind of customer service is rare these days — especially in the off-road world where a lot of companies stop caring once the order is placed.
The parts themselves are exactly what you hope for: solid, well-made, confidence-inspiring hardware that looks like it belongs under a vehicle that actually gets used. You can tell these are designed by people who understand suspension geometry and real-world abuse, not just CAD screenshots.

These guys are great. You can get them on the phone for support. This important and is not always the case with other custom parts builders. Their control arms are bomb proof and offer plenty of options. You can get real genuine Currie Johnny joints without paying the price for Currie arms.

Recieved warrenty exchanges for my control arms last night couldnt be happier!!! Lets talk about the arms tho! Great quality arms in multiple styles and colors!!! I purchased the teir 3 short arns for my 98 xj. I can say that they setoff nicely so my 35 inch tires do not rub! As long as you can get a photo or video of broken hardware core will take care of you. The body of the arm is bulletproof. However make sure to maintain and grease the joints regularly as with any greaseable joint and they shouldkast forever. I had a few problems arise a year after purchase and after some troubleshooting spence was able to help get me the correct parts to get back on the road. I recommend this setup to any and all jeepers looking to get away from the stock arm setup. Alltogether i am Very happy with the performace of my control arms!!!! Mechanic and bodyman of 12 years and my first choice for quality control arms!!
