Every CORE 4X4 part is built to order in Orem, Utah — your specs, your color. Here is exactly how long that takes, what it costs, and what happens if a box shows up beat.

Built to order. Not pulled off a shelf.
Here is why “ships in 1–3 days” means something different at CORE 4X4: we don't warehouse finished parts. When your order comes in, your arms get built for your order — cut, welded, and powder coated in your color, right here in Orem, Utah. Ten colors, no upcharge.
Order by 3:00 PM MT and your build starts the next business day. Most orders ship within 1–3 business days of that start. Larger kits and long-arm setups take longer, and if your build is going to run long, we email you — we don't let you wonder.
Every product page shows a ship-by date for your order. That date is the commitment, and it accounts for where you are in the queue. If you want the real answer for the parts in your cart, that is where to look.
Transit
We ship FedEx from Orem, UT (84057). Ground transit in the lower 48 typically runs 2–5 business days depending on distance — the closer you are to Utah, the faster it lands. Small items may go USPS flat rate.
Your total wait is build time plus transit. We email tracking as soon as your parts leave the shop.
What shipping costs
Orders over $1,000 ship free in the contiguous US (lower 48). Below that, shipping is calculated at checkout by weight and destination.
Alaska, Hawaii, and US territories ship FedEx at calculated rates — free shipping does not apply there, and transit runs longer. International is calculated too.
Local pickup
Close enough to drive? You can pick your order up at the shop — 936 Industrial Park Road, Orem, UT 84057. Choose Local Pickup at checkout and we will call you when it is built and ready. No shipping cost, no transit time, and you get to see where your parts were made.
Big kits, multiple boxes
Complete kits and long-arm setups often ship in more than one box, and boxes can arrive on different days. Some items in a complete kit ship straight from our suppliers — those can arrive separately, and we pass their tracking along as soon as the supplier gives it to us.
Don't start tearing into the rig until everything has landed — and check the contents against your packing list before disassembly. If anything is short, call us within 7 days and we will make it right fast.
Damaged in transit
Freight companies are hard on long boxes. If your shipment shows up beat:
- Note the damage with the driver if possible
- Photograph the box and the part before you toss any packaging
- Contact us within 7 days — 385-375-2104 or support@core4x4.com
We file the carrier claim — not you. We hold the shipping contract, we deal with FedEx, and we get replacement parts moving while the claim runs. Your job is photos and a phone call, that is it.
Delivered but missing
If tracking shows delivered and there is no box, call FedEx first — they can often pinpoint where it was dropped — then call us. We will open a trace and push it from our end.
Straight with you on this one: once a carrier has a delivery scan, we don't control the outcome, and we can't replace a stolen package for free. What we can do is open the trace, provide every document the carrier asks for, and get you a replacement build started fast if you need parts now. If you are ordering to an address where packages walk off, tell us at checkout and we will route it signature-required.
Order changes and cancellations
Because your parts are built to order:
- Before production starts: change or cancel free — just call fast. If you are inside the 3:00 PM MT cutoff window, there is a good chance nothing has been cut yet.
- After your parts are on the bench: the steel is cut and your color is on it. You can still cancel — a 10% fee applies once your parts are in production, and nothing has to ship out and come back.
Need to fix a shipping address? Call us before it ships and we will update it — after it ships, changes go through FedEx and are not guaranteed.
International orders
We ship worldwide, but know the deal before you order:
- Duties, taxes, and brokerage fees are yours — they are charged by your country, not by us, and they are not included in checkout totals.
- Lost and damage claims on international shipments are limited. Once a package crosses the border, carrier claims get slow and often go nowhere. We will provide documentation and help push, but international shipments travel at your risk.
- Free shipping does not apply to international orders.
