HOUSING
- SAE 1045 Solid Steel Forged Housing: This is unequivocally the best carbon alloy steel for this application.
- Knurled Housings: The preferred design for aftermarket installations.
- CNC Machined Housing: Make our parts and bearings dimensionally perfect, eliminating any die wear issues.
BALL STUDS
- SAE 4140 Hot Forged Chromoly Ball Studs: For the strongest possible metallurgy.
- Induction Heat Treated Ball Studs: Provides a very precise heat treatment to the exact depth and location we want it.
- Polished Ball Studs: Built like an anti-friction bearing with extremely precise tolerances.
- Rolled Threads: Made by pressing the shape of the threads into the ball stud instead of cutting. This strengthens the threads instead of weakening them and allows for easy movement of hardware. This ain't no Ikea furniture!
- Step Threads: Allows for very easy movement of hardware on install and superior holding when torqued (installer choice).
BEARING DESIGN
- Military Grade Acetal Bearing: The same bearing material spec'd by the US military for Hummer ball joints. This material is: dimensionally stable (doesn't expand or contract with hot or cold, water or oil absorption), can be polished smooth as steel, is anti-friction, doesn't wear itself out under load like metal on metal, and can take an absolute pounding.
BOOTS
- CR Rubber Boots: The most durable material for undercar applications. Resistant to deterioration from road level ozone, oil/gas/engine fluids and extreme heat or cold.
- UPPER: Internal Seal Boot: The boot is coined onto the ball joint, for superior sealing against contaminants.
- LOWER: Integral Pancake Boot
HARDWARE
- Grade 8 - Class 10.9 Hardware: Superior tensile strength.
- UPPER: Castle Nut: Industry standard where high vibration loads occur.
- LOWER: Tension Nut: Very strong hold in most applications.
LUBRICATION
- Pre Threaded Zerk Housing: If you have ever installed a MOOG Ball Joint without a pre-threaded zerk fitting you will understand what a simple but great feature this is. Another installer fav.
- Greaseable: Because it should be.
- Pre-Greased: Just in case you forget, we have you covered.
- Gull Winged Grease Grooves: Allows for improved lubrication disbursement around the ball stud.
- Zerk Fittings: Included for every application.

Great company, who worked with me on shipping parts, to arrive in time for a show, when I explained my concern of possibly not getting the control arms in time. After ordering an upper and lower adjustable control arm kit manufactured by CORE 4X4 from a jeep parts distributor who's intials are E.T., they came with 3 of the threaded ends missing. After over 2 months of phone calls and emails to this E.T. company nothing was resolved. I finally decided to call CORE 4X4 myself and tell them my dilemma. I spoke with a very personable and professional gentleman named Korby, who is one of CORE 4X4's representatives, after a brief discussion of what I went thru he simply asked me for a picture and some measurements and the items I was missing and asked if I could cover ONLY the cost of shipping and I had my missing parts in exactly 1 weeks time. This company not only builds all it's parts in the U.S.A., they stand behind their products with great customer service and life time warranty. My experience with this company and their Rep Korby was fantastic. I would definitely recommend CORE 4X4 to anyone who needs parts for any 4x4 projects. You just can't beat their quality and service.

Have yet to get to try them but I bought some upper, and then later , lower control arms for my 03 rubicon. The pricing is very fair, so fair I was hesitant to even purchase. When the product came in I was happily mistaken. These are some beefy units with an incredible warranty! I’m very excited! I went with the “Camp”series as I mostly daily it.
I have trouble with the shipping at times when I ordered but Corby is quick to notice things and help communicate the solution. Looking forward to buying more parts!

I have recently come to know Core 4x4 when I purchased a Jeep XJ and was looking for a place that had dedicated XJ suspension and components. Here is what makes them different than most other shops. All of their components are top shelf quality and they back it up if you break any of it. I was able to see their shop when I picked up an order locally and was impressed with their attention to detail and how they assemble and powder coat each part. I had an issue with a shackle and needed the threaded shaft to be shorter. I called in and talked to Kaden and he told me to come by and they would shorten it for me. When I got there, Kaden and Spencer (the owner) met me and talked about options and proceeded to make the right adjustments to fit my XJ. Told me if anything changes in the future and I need additional length, they would take care of me. So what really sets them apart from others is their Customer Service. Try calling in to any other Jeep suspension or part shop and see how they treat you. Been there - done that.
Will continue to do business with Core and their team. Getting that kind of service for just a shackle has me thinking I may need to replace my JT components with Core's. Thanks Guys for being helpful good humans!

CORE 4X4 Company produces/manufactures exceptional products. My rear upper and lower control arms and rear track bar were powder coated custom Fox “Shock Orange” for my 2024 Bronco Wildtrak. OEM looks minimal compared to the CORE 4X4 control arms. Plus they’re adjustable, serviceable and rebuildable. Shipment was very fast and packaging used custom foam wrapped around the arms and heavy duty boxes. Not even UPS could damage. Korby L. was great to work with and responded quickly with emails and product information. Great products. Great people from the State of Utah. All Made in the USA. 5 Stars!!!
