Details

Core 4x4's Camp Series 4-piece rear control arm set replaces all four worn factory stamped-steel arms on the Chevy Tahoe (2000–2006). The factory arms use soft rubber bushings and a fixed length, so there's no way to re-align the rear axle or correct pinion angle after a lift or leveling kit. These Core 4x4 arms are a serious step up: DOM steel tubing, a poly bushing at each fixed end, and a forged Rock Jock Johnny Joint at each adjustable end for increased articulation, with adjustable length to set rear axle alignment and pinion angle back to spec.

Includes: Rear upper control arms (pair) and rear lower control arms (pair); mounting hardware (bolts, nuts, and washers).

Suspension Type — Standard or Autoride (Z55): Select at checkout. Z55 trucks have factory rear air leveling; the Autoride version includes the ride-height sensor mounting tab on both rear upper arms. If you're not sure which you have, check the RPO sticker in the glove box for a Z55 code.

Notes:

Hardware is included with your arms. If you ever need replacements down the road, the matching kit is available separately.
Running a lift? The 5-piece rear kit (CMP-G-800-TAH-RK5) adds the adjustable track bar to recenter the axle side-to-side.

I meant to put this reviewing about a year ago now, but ever since I’ve had the core 4 x 4, upper and lower control arms on my 2017 ram 1500, they have worked flawlessly leave been on many offering chips, and I’ll definitely be buying new accessories from them in the future and their new upper control arms that they’re offering for all of the ram trucks. Fantastic customer service fantastic health very automotive, off-road, friendly, and any aftermarket thing for your truck or SUV that they currently have!

I contacted these guys on a Saturday through email and needed some control arms by the following weekend, Spence got back with me and told me he would make sure the order got shipped out on Monday, they got busy and wasn’t able to ship the package out so he got back with me that evening and upgraded my shipping for free and shipped out the next day, only because he told me he’d make sure I’d have them by the weekend! Ordered a control arm and track bar kit for my WJ from Core 4x4 on Monday 7/28 and received it today, Friday 8/1. Im not a state or two away, im in CT aka the other side of the country. Have full upper/lower CA set on both front and rear axles on a 96 ZJ. These are the rubber bushing sets not joint sets. I have beat the hell out it in the Nevada desert for 2 years and has been great. I don’t go fast but I do articulate suspension a lot. Super solid and haven’t any issues. Just inspected the entire set recently due to some banging under it. Turns out the banging is lower rear shock bushings. Inspected each CA along the way nothing. Aside from dirt and obviously winter roads and what not still in excellent condition, bushings are solid like the day they were installed. I’ll add that I’m about tapped on a short arm at 4.25(less with settle) so the front CA’s get beat on just from that, still they’re like new. Paint is great condition, this set is red. I would definitely buy again. Another plus for me, Utah isn’t local necessarily, but it’s nice to support businesses closer to me.
